Mike has been an absolute pleasure to work with. His knowledge of dogs and how to properly train them is outstanding. His ability to handle our dog and place him in an environment to be successful, learn, and feel comfortable whilst doing so was top tier. He was also able to help us, as owners, feel more comfortable handling and teaching our dog on our own by giving us the necessary information to succeed and make the right choices for our dog’s learning progression even when he’s not physically there. He puts a great focus on teaching the dog owners the right tools for success, just as much as he works directly with the dog. This leads to a better foundation for the dog and a better understanding of what it takes to reach our goals for our dog’s behavior and obedience. Michael was an incredible thorough and thoughtful trainer. He gave us a free consult for our very reactive dog and within minutes she was better. Over the course of a few lessons, our walks completely turned around and got better…dare I say enjoyable!! Michael taught me how to use a specific set of tools meant for her specific needs and I’m a more confident owner. Forever grateful for Michael!
